WHATS UP...... It's both National Flower Day and World Poetry Day?? WOW! I decided to write a POEM about FLOWERS.. and NATURE!! also about love bc im a giant sap and if u like my poetry than you know how much I love love.... so yeah, please enjoy! ALSO. Three of My Favorite Things, Poems, Nature, and Gentle Love

I used to think there was nothing sweeter than the smell of springtime flowers

Freshly bloomed, The saccharine honeysuckles danced on my senses like delicate ballerinas

Being lonely in the spring is a bittersweet feeling

New life is sprouting with every waking day

The sun sends its children rays of love in the form of warmth and sunshine

Everything I've learned about love, I've learned through the spring

But when I look into your eyes, I become infantilized

The gardens in your eyes cause a supernova in my heart

You allow me to plant my love in you and together we watch it blossom

How beautiful is this thing that together we’ve created

I’ll guide your hands as they connect with the earth

I'll teach you to nurture it in hopes it won’t wilt

The fragility of both love and flowers allows me to feel vulnerable

When will spring arrive?

I sit and patiently wait, daydreaming of the day I can see your face
